InterLibrary Loan or ILL is when a library will borrow an item usually a book or journal article from another library for someone to use. We participate in ILL and will request material from other libraries for students, staff and faculty.

Print books are generally "borrowed" from another library for a period of time -- usually 3 weeks. It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to get a print book, it depends on where the book is coming from.

Journal articles are generally sent via PDF and can come quickly within a few hours to a few days. 

At this time ebooks are not "shared".
