The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th Edition (released Oct 2019), is the current publication that discusses the APA rules most thoroughly; however, there are other resources that can help you. Visit the library's APA Style Resource guide for more information.
The library now subscribes to Academic Writer which is created by the American Psychological Association -- they publish the APA manual. This tool by APA provides citation examples, short videos explaining APA rules, a writing paper tool which guides you on formatting your paper in APA and more. It is well worth a look.
Academic Writer will continue to use the Publication Manual, 6th edition until Fall 2020 and then plans to transition to the 7th edition. The library has print copies of the 7th edition.
