Q. I have a fine for returning a book late. May I still check out books from the library?

A fine is not an automatic block to borrowing from the library. You may borrow materials as long as your fine is less than $10.00. If you have fines totaling more than $10.00, you must pay at least part of the fines before you can borrow additional materials.
