Q. How or where do I find a DOI for an article?

There are several ways to do this...

First, DOI stands for Digital Object Identifier and many publishers assign this digital number to articles. Not all articles have DOI's. Articles prior to 2000 are less likely to have one.

Most newer articles have a DOI --- usually on the first page of the article (PDF format) at the bottom lower left side.

You can locate the article in a database and the DOI will often be listed in the citation feature.

You can use Google Scholar to try and verify the DOI in the citation.
